ABOUT US
We support pregnant women and help them access temporary housing, appropriate practical resources, and spiritual guidance to protect and nurture their lives and those of their babies.
We are a part of Fundación Hermanos de la Calle, a faith-based, nonprofit organization based in Miami, dedicated to providing housing and support services to homeless people.
OUR VISION
We believe that every pregnant woman, regardless of her circumstances, should have access to a safe, loving home and support services to give birth to her child. Every baby is a blessing!
MISSION STATEMENT
Hearts for Life helps pregnant women choose life.
We reach, serve, and assist pregnant women with positive life options for themselves and their babies. We accompany expectant mothers with compassion and provide access to the full range of Continuum of Care services and temporary housing.
WHAT WE DO
Perform outreach through our hotline, external referrals, and full coordination with the Continuum of Care (CoC).
Provide referrals & connection with CoC, relocation/reunification services.
Provide temporary housing assistance.
In addition, Hearts for Life is starting its mission with one self-operated home where we provide pregnant mothers a safe, loving home and access to essential services during pregnancy and birth. We look forward to opening more homes for pregnant women in the future.
WHO WE SERVE
We help all pregnant women in need by connecting them with resources in the Continuum of Care with public and private organizations.
ADOPT-A-MOM
Through the Adopt-a-Mom program, churches, organizations, and philanthropists can provide vital support to women contemplating abortion, encouraging them to choose life for their babies. The program also helps women in advanced stages of pregnancy who have already chosen motherhood over abortion.
PARTNERS
Hearts for Life works with the City of Miami and a broad array of public agencies and private organizations.
VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers can support us in a variety of ways.
Prayers: Pregnant mothers and their children need your prayers.
Hands-on support: Assist at our home by providing emotional support and companionship, offering rides to doctor’s appointments or the supermarket, and organizing field trips and fun outings.
Donations: Every contribution makes a difference. Please consider establishing a recurring monthly donation to help sustain our efforts.
